Houlton Kris R. Watson 66 died June 14, 2020 in Houlton. He was born Jan. 31 1954 in Houlton the son of Robert and Norma (Ross) Watson. He is a veteran of the U.S. Air Force and currently serving as Post Commander of American Legion Post 47 of Houlton. Past member of New Limerick planning board. He was a bus driver for SAD 70 and as well as a long haul truck driver for many years. He took good care of his mother. He was a loving grandfather and always looked forward to his phone calls from his daughter. Besides his mother of New limerick he is survived by three children Robert Watson of Pa.,Amanda (Jerome) Hurst of Ohio and Justin Watson of Presque Isle. Six grandchildren Mizel,Tameron, Mylah,Tia,Matthew and Hayden. Five brothers Carl (Carmel) Watson of New Limerick,Wayne (Marlene) Watson of New Limerick, Brent (Karen) Watson of Canasota,N.Y., Kevin Watson of Houlton, Jamey (Ellen) Watson of Youngstown, Ohio. One sister Lois (Glen) Barnes of New Limerick. Many nieces nephews and cousins. A very good friend Judy Nightingale and his constant companion Marlee. He was predeceased by his father Robert, a sister Louise and two brothers Roy and Kent. A graveside funeral service will be held Wednesday 10 am at the New Limerick Cemetery with full military honors.
